Hi this is Rahul Chouhan from Indore suffer from Back pain L4-L5-S1, for surgery I came to know about Dr. Kavi sir. He is specialist for Endoscopic Spine surgeries and one of the finest doctor I have ever met. I am from Nepal. This review is with respect to my recent surgery from the team of Dr. Anand Kavi at Apollo Spectra Hospital, Pune. I had central disc prolapse (L4- L5 disc disease) from April 2020. The long hours of banking job even worsened the pain. The numbness and tingling sensation of nerves in the legs had increased badly and the pain had elevated to the level that I wasn't able to walk, sit or sleep for long. Dr. Kavi advised us to have soonest surgery (endoscopic spine surgery). He said that my nerves have been compressed since years and as this has worsened this may result in permanent weakness in legs and lack of sensation for control of bladder (if remained untreated for long). Like a big brother, he consoled and removed my fears. He assured of stitchless surgery that would be minimally invasive and that it's a very safe surgery. Also, he comforted saying that I would be able to walk home myself the next day. After the surgery, the numbness in my legs has been got rid off instantly... We have been following his advices and instructions for follow up and we feel so peaceful whenever we consult him regarding any of our confusions. I am still under recovery. I feel lucky that I had been blessed with treatment from right doctor. It's rightly said that right doctor means you are halfway already there with recovery. I am sure his experience and knowledge has treated other severe cases with success stories. I humbly recommend Dr. Kavi for anyone who has been suffering from spine or orthopedic issues. ☘️✨🌸

My wife had L5-S1 (Lumbosacral Joint) issue from last few months. I visited quite a few doctors and they said it might be sciatica and she was treated based on this assumption. After few weeks she was having problem in her lower back and she had tremendous pain in her back of the left leg. She was unable to walk, stand or sit and her condition got worst after few days. We did MRI immediately as per consultation from orthopedic doctor and he suggested surgery. To be very honest I was not at all comfortable with this suggestion. For second opinion i visited Dr. Anand Kavi with MRI report who clearly explained me what was the issue and how it is affecting my wife's health and how it would impact her body if i get late for surgery. I understand the situation but still want to take other Drs. opinions so I visited many spine surgeon in Pune. Finally i decided to go with Dr. Kavi's consultation after detailed diagnosis of my wife's condition. Dr. Kavi not only diagnosis her condition carefully but also built confidence in us. His clear advised help us to take the decision for surgery which was must to take at that point of time otherwise it would have result in loosing her left leg or more severe lower back issues. He explained us about transforaminal Endoscopy which is stich less and help patient to set pain free on the very next day. The surgery went exactly as described , she was able to walk on next day , numbness in her lower back had gone. Dr. Kavi examined her next day and discharged her from hospital. Few lesson learned after this episode. 1. If you are having severe lower back issue, Visit the doctor immediately and Do the MRI or any other scan(As doctor suggests) 2. Do not wait if the problem is severe. 3. From our experience i would say Surgery is safe and if surgeon is Dr. Anand Kavi then definitely it would be very effective. I would definitely recommend Dr. Anand Kavi for back pain treatment or spine surgery anyone who needs it. And i really want to thanks Dr. Kavi for changing our life. This review is with respect to my surgery done by Dr Anand Kavi. I met Dr Anand Kavi for my back pain and un balancing in legs, previously I had visited couple of other doctors in this regards and was little spectical due to the cut required for the surgery and recovery period. On the first visit Dr Anand Kavi explained me the procedure of the surgery making me comfortable Since the surgery will be done through endoscopy he assured me I will walk back home in 3 days. During the hospitalization days Dr Anand Kavi gave personal attention and ensured my comfort. Within 3 days of surgery I was discharged from hospital walking back on my feet. The follow up with him was delightful and I am happy with the overall experience I had with Dr Anand Kavi. Due to the personal touch and friendly nature I now feel Dr Anand Kavi as one of my family member. He also assisted me in replacing my regular tablets with tablets having no side effects. I thank Dr Anand Kavi for his personal care, support and help and wish him all the best for his further endeavors.

Great experience as a first timer.... Dr. Anand kavi is a wonderful surgeon, I went through L4-L5 endoscopic disc surgery. He ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. He is very knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care. Dr. Kavi came in our life like a savier while both my legs had almost stopped working along with a left foot drop with minimal urine and stool sensation. No matter what we did consult accross our network but his findings and advise of a surgery was wise and actually it was required. Surgery was a super success and my urine and stool sensation was fixed in a couple of days itself and currently i only have a foot drop left to get recovered. But on a personal side Dr. Kavi gave me and my family a new life as we cant even imagine what would have happened if we would have not taken his advise seriously. Dr Kavi has been excellent... he takes great interest in treating his patients. My wife got operated on the 23rd July 2021 at the Apollo Spectra Hospital, Pune.
